DAY TO DAY ITINERARY

Day 01 – Depart London

Day 02 – Arrive Delhi – City Tour
Early this morning you arrive at Delhi. You are met and transferred to hotel. Later embark on a sightseeing tour of Old & New Delhi. The places you visit include the Red Fort, Raj Ghat, Humayun’s Tomb, India Gate and the Qutab Minar Complex. Return to the hotel in the evening. Overnight stay.

Day 03 – Delhi / Mandawa – City Tour
This morning drive to the Mandawa, the heart of the Shekhawati region of Rajasthan and its Open Air Art Gallery made famous by the frescoes in its "Havelis" (mansions). On arrival check into hotel. Later visit the famous Havelis notable among them being Chokani, Ladia and Saraf Havelis. Overnight stay.

Day 04 – Mandawa / Bikaner – City Tour
Early this morning drive to the fortified city of Bikaner. On arrival check into hotel. In the afternoon embark on a sightseeing tour of the city visiting the Junagarh Fort and the City Palace. Overnight stay.

Day 05 – Bikaner / Jaisalmer
This morning drive into the desert to Jaisalmer, the 12^th century inhabited fort-city. On arrival check into hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay.

Day 06 – In Jaisalmer – City Tour
This morning embark on a sightseeing tour of this "Golden City". Visit the Fort, the intricately carved Havelis like Patwon-ki-Haveli, Nathmalji-ki-Haveli, and Salim Singh-ki-Haveli and the local bazaar. In the afternoon take a drive to the sand dunes in the nearby village of Sam to watch the spectacular sunset. Return to hotel for overnight stay.

Optional: Camel Ride on the dunes – an experience not to be missed!

Day 07 – Jaisalmer / Jodhpur – City Tour
Early this morning drive to Jodhpur, the blue-hued City of Warriors. On arrival check into hotel. Later visit the imposing Mehrangarh Fort and the Jaswant Thada Memorial. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay.

Day 08 – Jodhpur / Ranakpur / Udaipur
This morning drive to Udaipur en route visiting the beautifully sculptured Jain Temples of Ranakpur. Continue drive to Udaipur and check into hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 09 – In Udaipur – City Tour
This morning embark on a sightseeing tour of this Romantic City of Lakes. Visit the City Palace, the Sahelion-ki-Bari (Garden of the Maids) and the local bazaar. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay.

Optional: Boat Ride on Lake Pichola

Day 10 – Udaipur / Chittorgarh / Kota
This morning drive to Kota en route visiting the Chittorgarh Fort, Continue drive to Kota and check into hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure to explore the town, which is a fascinating mixture of medieval grandeur and modern industrialization. Overnight stay.

Day 11 – Kota / Bundi / Jaipur
This morning drive to Jaipur en route visiting the medieval fortress of Bundi. Bundi is also famous for its intricate paintings and murals. Continue drive to Jaipur and check into hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay.

Day 12 – In Jaipur – City Tour
Morning excursion to Amber Fort, located 11kms outside the City. Here enjoy an Elephant Ride to reach the top of the Fort. Later tour the "Pink" City of Jaipur visiting the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), City Palace, Jantar Mantar Astronomical Observatory and the colourful bazaars. Overnight stay.

Day 13 – Jaipur / Fatehpur Sikri / Agra
This morning drive to Agra en route visiting Fatehpur Sikri, the abandoned Mughal capital, which is a masterpiece of Indo-Islamic architecture unique in India. Built in red sandstone this nearly intact city is a beautiful blend of Hindu and Islamic architectural elements. Continue drive to Agra and check into hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay.

Day 14 – City Tour – Agra / Delhi – Outbound
This morning tour the city of Agra visiting the Agra Fort and the Taj Mahal. In the afternoon drive to Delhi en route visiting the mausoleum of Mughal Emperor Akbar at Sikandra. The tomb is a splendid example of the combination of Hindu and Muslim architecture and represents Akbar’s philosophy and secular outlook. On arrival in Delhi you are transferred straight to the airport to board your midnight flight back home.

Day 15 – Arrive London
