DAY TO DAY ITINERARY

Day 1 – Arrive Kolkata (Calcutta)
You are met on arrival and transferred to your hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2 – In Kolkata
Today embark on a full day tour of Kolkata City. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3 – In Kolkata
Today embark on a full day excursion to Murshidabad (199kms/4hrs 30min one way) the scene of the famous Battle of Plassey. Overnight at hotel.

Day 4 – Fly Kolkata / Mumbai (Bombay)
In the morning you are transferred to the airport to board flight to Mumbai. On arrival in Mumbai you are met and transferred to hotel. Afternoon embark on a half-day tour of Mumbai City. Overnight at hotel.

Day 5 – Drive Mumbai / Pune
Morning excursion to Elephanta caves. Later drive to Pune (approx. 2hrs) en route visiting Lonavala. Drive on and check into hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 6 – In Pune
Today embark on a half-day tour of Pune City. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Day 7 – Pune / Ahmednagar / Pune
This morning embark on a full day excursion to Ahmednagar (118kms one way) where the Battle of Assaye was held. Overnight at hotel.

Day 8 – Fly Pune / Bangalore
Today you are transferred to the airport to board flight to Bangalore (flight operates on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays only). On arrival in Bangalore you are met and transferred to hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Day 9 – Drive Bangalore / Mysore
This morning drive to Mysore (139kms/3hrs) and check into hotel. In the afternoon embark on a half-day tour of Mysore City. In the evening visit the Brindavan Gardens. Overnight at hotel.

Day 10 – Drive Mysore / Srirangapatnam / Bangalore
This morning drive back to Bangalore en route visiting Srirangapatnam. Drive on to Bangalore and check into hotel. In the afternoon embark on a half-day tour of Bangalore City. Overnight at hotel.

Day 11 – Fly Bangalore / Chennai
This morning you are transferred to the airport to board flight to Chennai (flight operates on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays only). On arrival in Chennai you are met and transferred to hotel. In the afternoon embark on a half-day tour of Chennai City. Overnight at hotel.

Day 12 – Fly Chennai / Hyderabad
This morning embark on a half-day excursion to Kanchipuram, famous for its temples and silk. Rest of the day is at leisure. In the evening you are transferred to the airport to board the flight to Hyderabad. On arrival in Hyderabad you are met and transferred to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 13 – Fly Hyderabad / Delhi
Embark on a full day tour of Hyderabad City this morning. In the evening you are transferred to the airport to board flight to Delhi. On arrival in Delhi you are met and transferred to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 14 – In Delhi
Today embark on full day tour of Old and New Delhi. Overnight at hotel.

Day 15 – Delhi / Meerut / Delhi
This morning embark on a full day excursion to Meerut (66kms/2hrs), the famous site of the Mutiny of 1857. Overnight at hotel.

Day 16 – Train Delhi / Amritsar
This morning you are transferred to the railway station to board express train to Amritsar. On arrival in Amritsar you are met and transferred to hotel. Later embark on a half-day tour of Amritsar City. Overnight at hotel.

Day 17 – Train Amritsar / Delhi
Today you are transferred to the railway station to board the express train back to Delhi. On arrival in Delhi you are met and transferred to hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight at hotel.
